Our Business
Advisory and technology across the geothermal lifecycle.
Five connected practice areas, one perspective: the subsurface evidence and operating data that decide whether a geothermal asset stays productive, bankable and compliant for decades.
Who we work with
- Geothermal developers and plant operators
- Lenders, investors and their technical advisors
- Public agencies and regulators
- Technology companies building AI and data products for energy (domain integration and operational validation)
- International technology companies entering Türkiye and Europe
- Research consortia and Horizon Europe partners
Reservoir & Hydrogeochemistry
Long-term reservoir monitoring and fluid chemistry are the evidence base for every production and reinjection decision. We design the monitoring, interpret the data and translate it into operating rules.
Typical engagements
- Water, gas and condensate sampling programs; water-rock interaction studies
- Reservoir sustainability assessments and reinjection strategy
- Scaling and corrosion diagnosis; inhibitor selection and performance monitoring
- Hydrogeochemical monitoring on active fault zones
Plant Performance & Operations
From rehabilitation of an aging unit to daily operation under Western Anatolian summer conditions, we work on the interface between the wells and the plant, where most avoidable output losses happen. We separate what the resource and the weather take away from what operations can win back.
Typical engagements
- Performance analysis of ORC and flash plants: expected vs. actual output, loss decomposition (ambient, resource and NCG-related losses vs. operational losses)
- Capacity-enhancement and efficiency studies
- Chemical dosing and inhibitor system evaluation across wells and separation stations
- Scaling-related degradation indicators for heat exchangers and condensers
- H₂S abatement and emission-control systems
Digital & AI for Geothermal Assets
We combine physical and thermodynamic models with data-driven methods in one framework, so a performance deviation is not only detected but explained, and alternative operating conditions can be simulated with engineering-grade justification. Plant- and software-independent by design.
Typical engagements
- Physics-informed performance and decision-support frameworks for geothermal (ORC) plants
- Digital twins for critical equipment such as reinjection pumps
- Machine learning for exploration: lithology prediction from drilling cuttings
- Domain integration and operational validation for AI and data products built by technology companies
- Data-readiness reviews before an AI investment
Energy-Transition Technologies
Geothermal fields are also subsurface assets for the next decade's technologies. We assess what a field can additionally host or produce, and what it would take.
Typical engagements
- CCS screening in geothermal settings
- Natural hydrogen exploration and subsurface storage assessments
- Critical-mineral recovery potential from brines
- Hybrid, co-production and green-hydrogen integration concepts
Strategic & Funding Advisory
Technical credibility for financing and funding decisions: the documents lenders read, the consortia Horizon Europe rewards, and the roadmaps regulators expect.
Typical engagements
- Technical support for bank and development-finance due diligence
- Feasibility studies and EIA coordination
- Horizon Europe positioning, consortium building and proposal support
- Energy-transition roadmaps and European Green Deal alignment
Technology & R&D
Applied R&D: explainable performance analysis for geothermal plants
FSTH Enerji runs its own R&D line on the analysis and improvement of operating performance in geothermal power plants. It combines physical and thermodynamic models with data-based methods in a single, explainable framework that is designed to be plant- and software-independent, validated on real operating data together with plant operators and university research teams, and developed within national and international R&D programs. Results are offered first as performance-analysis and decision-support services, then as reusable technical packages and software-based tools.
Beyond geothermal: the same approach applies to other ORC systems, such as waste-heat recovery.
A short path from first call to usable deliverable.
Engagements are project-based, on retainer, or per event. Contracting is possible through our Turkish entity or through partner channels.
- 01
Discovery meeting
We listen to the problem, look at what data exists, and say whether we are the right fit.
- 02
Tailored proposal
Scope, timeline, deliverables and the partners we would bring in, in writing.
- 03
Execution
Regular updates, site visits where needed, and working sessions with your team rather than reports over the wall.
- 04
Delivery & follow-up
Deliverables your engineers can act on, with post-project support as agreed.
Not sure which area your question belongs to?
Most projects touch two or three. Describe the situation and we will map it for you in the first call.
